Marathon club in Secunda invites runners to night race
All runners are welcome to join time trails and social runs.
The former Secunda Marathon Club changed their name to Lake Umuzi Secunda Marathon Club and also moved its clubhouse to Lake Umuzi near the Action Sports Centre.
Anybody is welcome to join them on Wednesdays at 18:00 for a time trial run or on Saturday mornings at 06:00 for a social run.
All runners are also invited to their yearly Valentine’s Night Race taking place on February 12.
It starts at 19:00 and entry fees are R120 for the 10km race and R50 for the 2km fun run.
Another highlight on the Lake Umuzi Secunda Marathon Club’s calendar is the yearly Kosmos 3-in-1 race taking place on March 1 for the club members and March 8 for the community.
