This is how you can reach JMPD to report your issues

WARD 87 – By-law infringements can be reported to the Johannesburg Metro Police Department.

The Johannesburg Metro Police Department is responsible for by-law enforcement in the city of Johannesburg. Ward 87 councillor Bridget Steer shared how residents can report issues such as public nuisance, public drinking, noise and reckless driving to the department.

“For illegal structures/shacks being erected in open spaces, residents can call JMPD and get a reference number. Please then email Region B JMPD chief Chocho and cc the regional director Mohau Ntheli with the location and reference number,” said Steer.

The councillor said if one witness illegal dumping they should report to the hotline. “Try to take photos and get details of the vehicle registration so the culprits can be tracked, or WhatsApp or email me the same info,” advised Steer.
