Them Particles…LIVE

Fans of the incredibly original band, Them Particles will be delighted to hear that they are making one of their rare appearances at the Troyeville Hotel.

For the last eight years, with their deep lyrics and own style of Swamp Rock, they have been exposing people to what has fondly been termed the dark side of country music.

Occasionally seen at 44 Stanley and the Radium, this group has found a loyal following and gets even the most jaded dancing.

Lyricist and guitarist Dax Butler heads up the outfit. He is joined by Sir Richard Bruyns on lap steel, Joel ‘Ringo on bass, Bronwyn ‘Squid’ Krige on accordion and chicken, and Derek the Inexplicable Davey on drums. Drawing from zydeco, bluegrass, country and good ’ole East Rand rock, the band usually raises the roof – but promises to make sure everyone is kept warm this chilly weekend.
