Do you think Jacob Zuma will ever be convicted for the criminal charges against him?

JOBURG – We asked members of the community for their thoughts ...

PHUMEZA MBOTSHELWA:
He has to go to jail. He has had these allegations since 2005 but he became president. We can’t respect him, he brought corruption.
ANDRE PIANAAR:
He will never go to jail because he is protected by everyone. He has retained privileges when he was still a president.
SAZISO KHOZA:
There is no need for him to go to prison because he doesn’t have a case and it’s just politics. Who proved those allegations?
SORANYA HALIBATE:
I think the justice system is scrutinising him because he is out of his position as president. Many will please the country by making sure he ends up being convicted.
FANIE KAPP:
That man will pass away before he is even convicted. There will never be jail time for Zuma. We must just forget about it.
