Renowned author Sir Terry Pratchett dies at 66

Pratchett, aged 66, passed away peacefully at his home on 12 March surrounded by friends, family and his beloved cat.

The author suffered from a rare form of Alzheimer’s and before his passing he managed to complete his final novel that forms part of his successful Discworld series.

Pratchett’s publishing company officially released the news of his passing after his daughter bid him a fond farewell on Twitter in his own style of writing.
