A couple was tied up and robbed at gunpoint at their Craighall home on Hamilton Road on 15 March.
According to the Parkview police station commander, Colonel Nanda Moodley, the victims were sitting on their stoop when the suspects entered their yard from the back.
“Three armed men approached the couple and took them inside the house where the suspects proceeded to tie them up,” said Moodley.
A neighbour of the couple Graham Shackleford said, “On the night I heard the dogs in our area barking non-stop but thought nothing of it.”
“I woke up to find a CSS guard looking around in my yard and he told me that my neighbours had been robbed.”
Shackleford said he had heard of other similar incidents of home robberies.
