Carnival Du Freak brought to life
TROYEVILLE - Fire eaters, belly dancers, stilt walkers and a side-show of party freaks were the order of the night at Carnival Du Freak.
Event venue KingKong was transformed into an otherworldly carnival where revelers danced the night away to DJs such as ToyBoy, The Beard, Marcella, and I am Noize.
Fire dancers lived up to the title against a backdrop of the city skyline, and stilt walkers proved they were stilt dancers by strutting their stuff on the dance floor.
“Carnival Du Freak has been our most successful event thus far,” said organiser Hendrik Smit of Toybox Events.
“We thank every single person who attended, all our DJs, performers, sponsors, ticket sellers, and everybody who dressed up. We love what we do because of all of you. Stay weird, stay crazy.”
