St Johns tastes defeat
Good weather was on the side of the St John’s Rugby festival however, lady luck was not.

The rugby boys have yet to taste victory as they, yet again, lost on day two of the much supported festival.
The Scots College showed their class by convincingly beating the hosts St John’s College.
Klein Nederburg, St Charles and Nelspruit won their games comfortably against their opposition.
It would appear it was not a good day for the local schools as Paarl Boys beat Jeppe in a tight affair which could have gone either way.
The final between Paarl Roos and Waterkloof lived up to all expectations Waterkloof managing to pull the win off.
The tournament was a well organised event which brought two different tiers of rugby schools together to show off their skills.
Some of the top rugby schools including Paarl Boys High, Paul Roos and Waterkloof, Pretoria Boys High, Jeppe and Nelspruit and touring team from Sydney, Australia – Scots College all brought their A-game.
St John’s will be looking for a win in the third and last match of the festival.
