Female burglar caught among bushes

According to Caswel Siweya from ADT security, the woman was hiding among bushes in the garden and was trying to get away.

“We [ADT] responded to a triggered alarm in the early hours of the morning and then came to the scene,” explained Siweya.

According to Parkview police spokesperson Lloyd Ramovha, it was evident that the main door to the house had been forced open and the valuables were scattered.

The complainant’ s handbag containing bank cards, an ID, an undisclosed amount of cash and clothing items were found in her possession.

The suspect is currently being detained and will appear at Hillbrow Magistrates Court soon to face charges of housebreaking and theft.
