Horrific train crash leaves 150 injured (WATCH)
JOBURG - A train crash earlier this afternoon has left about 150 people injured however, no fatalities have been reported.
The incident occurred near the Booysens train station heading towards Crown Mine Station.
Paramedics on the scene said it was a mass casualty situation.
“Patients were found all over the scene, with injuries ranging from minor to serious. Once the patients have been triaged and treated on scene, they will be transported to various hospitals for urgent medical treatment,” said, ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring.
It is alleged that two trains crashed into each other, derailing one of them.
