MUST READ: ADT officer robbed at gunpoint, Google Street View captures incident
BRAMLEY - Google Street View captured an ADT reaction officer being held up at gunpoint by two unknown males on Junction Road in Bramley.
According to Theunis Kotze, general manager ADT Inland Region, the armed robbery was an opportunistic crime which occurred in February.
Kotze said, “No one was injured in the incident. The reaction officer’s weapon was stolen.”

According to Kotze, the South African Police Services (Saps) along with ADT, investigated the incident, however, no arrests have been made.
“The Google Street View pictures were recently shared on social media and brought to the attention of ADT. They could possibly assist in furthering the investigation and will be looked into by the Saps and ADT,” added Kotze.
Warrant Officer Moses Maphakela of Bramley police said, “No arrests have been made. We are still looking for the suspects.”
