Dog helps his four-pawed friends
PARKTOWN NORTH - Viper, Cortac's canine tactical officer who tracks down criminals in areas including Parktown North and Parkhurst, was recently involved in an initiative of a different kind on Mandela Day.
Viper and his handler, Cortac senior tactical officer Lawrence Magowa, together with Champion Petfoods, donated food to the dogs and cats at Kitty and Puppy Haven on Mandela Day.
Samantha Berger from the haven received the donation on behalf of the organisation.
Viper pledged to feed Acana food to 67 dogs and 67 cats for seven days.
