The children benefit
JOBURG - The Union of Jewish Women Johannesburg was delighted to receive fresh produce from the King David Schools' Foundation.
This after the foundation held its annual King David Schools’ Foundation Donors Dinner where the tables were decorated with an array of fresh fruit and vegetables.
The union then sent the produce to a project they support at the Bambanani Community which caters to a wide range of children of different ages and from various backgrounds. It feeds the children, assists them with aftercare support, and gives them lots of love and emotional well-being.
For many of the children, the meal they receive at Bambanani is often their only one of the day.
The union relies on the generosity of a number of donors.
