According to Heidi Leonard of the preschool, this is the second time the preschool has been to the koppies on a Spring Day walk. The walk is about 3km long and the guide gave the children a talk beforehand about the Iron Age and the flora and fauna on the koppies.
Leonard said, “Montessori Little Children Preschool’s central purpose is to help each child develop his or her potential by striving to instil a positive self-image, perseverance, self-motivation and a love of learning.”
According Leonard, their progressive educational programme stimulates the physical, emotional and intellectual growth of children.
