Katinka Steere, an educator at the school said, “I believe that volunteers can make a difference in the lives of these children, not just the educational benefits but also the time and love invested by volunteers, especially in this time of educational crisis countrywide.”
Steere said the primary school is always in need of volunteers and welcomes anyone willing to give the commitment of their time. Training is provided and no teaching experience is needed.
The literacy programme runs on Wednesday and Thursday from 8am until 10am whilst the maths programme is on a Thursday from 10.30am until 12pm.
