Two injured when tree blew over at Zoo Lake

JOBURG - Two men were injured when a tree was blown over at Zoo Lake shortly before 6pm on 19 December.

Park wardens summoned City of Joburg Emergency Medical Services (EMS), who arrived within minutes and treated both victims, one of which was unconscious.

Both men were then taken to hospital, but the tree is yet to be removed.

Joburg EMS has been approached for comment. Updates to follow.
