Matric success for Parktown Boys

PARKTOWN – Matriculants at Parktown Boys High School have once again done their teachers and parents proud after achieving a 100 percent pass rate for 2015.

The school can boast with six pupils who received five distinctions each after completing their final exams at the end of last year. These pupils are, Furqaan Ahmed, Farhaan Karolia, Saif Ali Chauday and Mogeseng Ramaisa, Shaun Pearce and Slade Hodge.

Shaun Pearce, also acted as head boy for the year and received full colours for academics and public speaking.

Last, but not least, is Slade Hodge. This brave matriculant was seriously injured in an accident in August and was unable to attend school for two months thereafter, sadly missing the preliminary exams. He nonetheless endeared and not only achieved five distinctions, but was also named Dux scholar and valedictorian.
