The Inyoni Angels, comprising residents of Inyoni Creek Retirement Village, have been shining their light on Thembalami Care Centre for seven years now.

The care centre recently held an event to thank the Inyoni Angels for its continuous support. “We want to express our gratitude and appreciation, not only to the residents of Inyoni Creek who are regularly involved, but also to those that work behind the scenes, many of whom we have never even met,” said Elize Raath, head of Thembalami Care Centre.

In March 2009, the Inyoni Angels hosted the first birthday bash at the care centre, which has been held monthly ever since. Residents at the care centre celebrate their birthday at the bash in that particular month and receive a gift package and everyone enjoys tea and cake.

“We, as the staff of Thembalami, salute you for the dedication, love and support you have shown our residents,” added Raath.
