UPDATE: Gautrain squashes claim from woman that she was drugged on train
ROSEBANK – Gautrain investigation finds that no drugging took place on their train.
Gautrain investigation has found no basis or merit on the complaint of an alleged drugging on one of their trains.
Gautrain spokesperson Kesagee Nayager has confirmed that they had concluded their extensive investigation and found that the alleged person who was running a campaign was actually legitimate.
“The investigator met with the individual alleged to have drugged the complainant and found that his campaign was in fact legitimate and that the pen used in the campaign was in no way associated with drugs,” said Nayager.

She said the pen had been used on some 200 people, including the Gautrain investigator and no one else reported any allergic reaction to the pens.
She also highlighted that they take allegations of this nature very seriously. “I would like to use this opportunity to assure our passengers that their safety and security is a top priority.”

The complainant, who still wished to remain anonymous, confirmed that she also received feedback from Gautrain.
“Apparently this guy’s story is legitimate. He had a bad experience with abuse and is really trying to bring awareness to the whole [issue of] abuse against women and children.”
She continued, “So the investigator is closing the case and saying that I just had an extremely bad reaction to the ink this guy used.”

“The fact still remains that this guy should not be using anything that could harm people in any way….even if it is unintentional.
If he does want to continue doing this he needs to find pens that are non-toxic.”
