St John’s College extends their congratulations to Kaelin Wills who bagged four gold medals for his brilliant acting.
Wills, 15, has participated in local and international stage and film competitions for the past eight years. He was awarded four gold medals in Talent Africa which took place at Roodepoort Theatre at the end of March. Wills received three individual gold medals for first place and one gold medal for a group performance.
He was also awarded a top 10 Talent Africa medal for being ranked as one of the top 10 actors in Africa, based on those who entered.
Wills has been selected as part of the South African team to represent South Africa at Talent America to be held in New York City in July.
Paul Edey, headmaster at the school said, “Kaelin is in every respect a terrific young man. He is an excellent all-rounder, equally adept at propping up the scrum as to playing a variety of roles on the stage.
“He remains polite, modest and unassuming. We are very proud of him.”
