NOTICE: Planned power outages for residents within Ward 117
PARKTOWN – City Power is planning power outages for a number of suburbs falling under Ward 117, commencing on 16 November.
According to City Power, a planned outage is a power interruption that occurs when electricity supply is switched off at a sub-station or any other portion of the network in order to conduct maintenance or to attend to emergency duties to correct any faults in the network so that it functions at its maximum potential.
Residents are urged to prepare themselves beforehand for the planned outages in their suburbs.
From 10pm on 16 November to 6am on 17 November, the suburbs that will be affected are:
- Parktown North
- Parkwood
- Craighall Park
- Dunkeld West
- Hyde Park.
From 10pm on 21 November to 6am on 22 November, the suburbs that will be affected are: - Blairgowrie
- Victory Park Ext 30
- Parkhurst
- Parktown North
- Parkwood
- Craighall Park
- Dunkeld West
- Craighall
- Emmarentia
- Greenside
- Hyde Park
- Oerder Park
- Parkview
