Following a stop-and-search operation in Parkview, three men were arrested for alleged drug possession.
The Parkview Sector Policing Unit conducted the operation in the Parkview precinct from 5 to 7 September. During the search, Sergeant Maliyakhe Nzama and Constable Padima Makhudu arrested three suspects.
According to Captain Tintswalo Sibeko, spokesperson for Parkview Police Station, the suspects were charged with possession.
The three suspects have since appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrates’ Court. It is unclear whether or not bail was granted, however, more information will be published once it becomes available.
