Sandringham police officers are calling on local community members to come forth with any information following the discovery of a corpse in Lyndhurst.
Spokesperson for Sandringham Police Station, Captain Mohlaume Mamabolo said, “On 22 October a body in a decomposed state was found in front of a house on Lyndhurst Road.”

Mamabolo said the body was found in large bushes in front of the residence by three tree fellers who were cutting the bush.
“The body was alleged to have been dumped in February as neighbours began to notice a foul smell coming from the bushes. Upon further investigation, the police discovered that it was a woman in her 30s. She was wearing a black and red skirt with a black top and slippers.”
Community members who can assist police in identifying the deceased or provide any information that with aid police investigations are urged to contact Detective Matsobane Galane.
