#ICYMI: One victim murdered and three suspects on the run

KELVIN – The police are on the lookout for three suspects after a murder and a house robbery that took place in the suburb.

The Gauteng police are currently on the lookout for three armed suspects who were allegedly involved in a murder and a house robbery in Kelvin on 10 December.

The incident occurred at 5.15am on 10 December when the three suspects allegedly broke into a house on Kelvin Street. Provincial spokesperson for the police Captain Mavela Masondo said, “It is reported that the suspects took jewellery and cellphones during the house robbery.”
A 54-year-old man was also murdered during the incident.

Masondo added, “We are still trying to establish how they gained entry to the yard. They first held up the male domestic worker and proceeded to the main house where they broke the door to gain entry. The deceased was with his wife in the house during the robbery.

“Both the wife and domestic worker were not injured,” said Masondo.

The police are currently appealing to anyone who might have information that can help the police with the investigation to please call crime stop at 086 0010111 or their nearest police station.
