Sandile Mantsoe is back in the South Gauteng High Court for sentencing today (3 May).
Judge AJ Johnson found Mantsoe guilty in the South Gauteng High Court on 2 May of three counts including murder, defeating the ends of justice as well as assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Mantsoe told the court on Thursday (3 May) that he did not kill Mokoena, and was apologetic for burning the body, ”I apologise to the family, the community and the people who look up to me..burning Karabo was a shortcoming,” he said.
