Bramley Police Station is currently investigating a case of armed robbery following an attempted hijacking of popular actress, Enhle Maphumulo.
Maphumulo has been hospitalised after three armed men stopped in front of her car in Hyde Park and dragged her out on 18 July at about 4pm. The Gazette understands that two men were in possession of firearms and the third suspect was wielding a hammer.
The actress was driving a new Porsche, which was given to her as a gift, by her husband, DJ Black Coffee. The suspects allegedly robbed the victim of her wedding ring, cellphone and other valuables, then drove off.

Gauteng police spokesperson, Captain Kay Makhubela has confirmed that a case of armed robbery was opened at the Bramely Police Station and is urging those who might have witnessed the scene to come forward with more details.
“We are aware of the incident that Enhle was attacked by three men who were driving a silver Toyota. As she is still in hospital, there are some details she could not elaborate on. We have already started with our investigation,” explained Makhubela.
Makhubela is also pleading for eyewitnesses to report to their nearest police stations if they did see anything.
