#PleaseShare: Community assistance needed in murder case

LOMBARDY WEST – The Sandringham police are calling on the community for information following the discovery of a lifeless body.

 

A case of murder is being investigated by the Sandringham police following the discovery of the naked body of an unknown female in Lombardy West.

Station Commander Colonel Lindani Ndlovu said the body was found on the corner of Granville and Cambridge Road. “Sandringham police are appealing to the community to come forward to identify the unknown body which was found on 16 September at 11.30pm.”

He added that upon arrival the police found a pair of pink ladies sandals next to the naked body. The victim is believed to be around 30 years-old.

Ndlovu said, “Police cannot identify the race but the investigating officer believes she can be Coloured or African.”
