WATCH: Standard Bank and Gemini Major kick off summer vibes
JOBURG – Standard Bank and Gemini Major launch Issa Vibe.
Following the launch of Gemini Major’s summer single Issa Vibe, which saw Standard Bank get on board to help the musician launch the single on the HappiNext Bus alongside a couple of fans as they drove around the streets of Joburg.
HappiNext, the bank’s new campaign, aims to show how Standard Bank enables people’s next during the summer by tapping into the feeling of summer with products and services that will make it easy to enjoy the season.
“Our campaign is all about making sure that ordinary South Africans enjoy whatever they are doing this summer, whether it’s with their friends or family. Standard Bank wants to come along for the journey by enabling these ‘nexts’ through its various products and services and spread HappiNext with everyone on South Africa soil,” said Standard Bank senior marketing manager, Thisile Mtyeku.
Mtyeku said the bank’s collaboration with Gemini Major is aimed at helping him launch his hit single IssaVibe which they have included as the sound of summer in their adverts across digital platforms and radio.
The hitmaker commended the bank’s efforts and said more corporates need to go the same route.
“It’s great that Standard Bank is helping us musicians spread our music to the masses. It shows that they don’t only care about banking but also the people that bank with them,” said Gemini Major.
