Marketing manager at the school Savo Ceprnick explained that the bus was purchased with the funds raised at the school’s 110th annual bazaar. “The bazaar was a great success. We managed to raise R867 000 and about 10 000 people attended the event where learners ran their own stands offering something for the whole family.”
He said that the 23-seater bus will be well used by all the 1 100 children at the school.
The unveiling of the bus coincided with an alumni breakfast attracting about 50 people.
