Redi Tlhabi joins SABC News

Redi Tlhabi, a South African journalist, producer, author and radio presenter has confirmed that she is joining SABC News to host new current affairs show.

Thanks to all the "Didn't she say she's going to America, it's a lie 😂" I shared details of my mom's illness. My phone started ringing with news bosses saying "since you are here.." I weighed up options. But when the formidable SABC news boss said "hey wena"..I said "YES MAM!"

Unfiltered will go on air on Sunday, 7 October 2018 at 8.30pm, on the SABC News Channel and SABC 3.

This is part of SABC’s efforts to attract top talent to enhance and strengthen audience experience, in line with its turnaround plan.

The show is set to tackle a number of issues affecting South Africans, including crime, corruption, education, politics as well as community and social issues.
