Anna Conradie in Grade 10 at Parktown High School for Girls entered the Grottobot Challenge in which she had to build and program a robot that could be manoeuvered through the caves at the Cradle of Humankind.
Her robot was then entered into the Northern Gauteng Science Fair where she was awarded a silver medal.
