Trompies, Sjava, Distruction Boyz and D’Banj headline One Source Live
JOBURG – Star-studded line-up as One Source Live festival returns to downtown Jozi.
One Source Live, a festival that celebrates African Creativity by bringing together African artists, musicians, fashion designers and photographers to collaborate, is set to return on 17 November to Joburg’s famous No 1 Fox Street with an explosive line-up and explosion of great music, art, fashion and photography.
The impressive line-up includes BET award-winning musician Sjava, hip-hop sensations Shane Eagle and DJ PH, Nigerian musical icon D’Banj, Gqom mavericks Distruction Boyz and kwaito legends Trompies.
The One Source Live creative revolutionaries Khuli Chana, Sho Madjozi, Trevor Stuurman and Osborne Macharia are billed to return to the festival with new installations and musical collaborations which will be announced later.
The festival unfolds over multiple stages and platforms in a multimedia setting that celebrates African creativity as a driver of positive change in the world.
One Source Live promises to bring African creativity to the fore, with the Absolut Art Bar being the epicentre of festival, the Discover Stage will see Sho Madjozi host a specially curated set of performances and live recordings of new collaborations with young artists, and the Street Art Zone being the hub of art installations, food trucks, street performances, fashion pop-ups, and street photographers.
