Female suspect arrested for a crime committed four years ago

SANDRINGHAM – A suspect has been arrested four years after the crime was committed.

 


A 28-year-old woman has been apprehended by Sandringham police for a crime she allegedly committed four years ago.

According to the spokesperson for the Sandringham Police Station, Captain Mohlaume Mamabolo, the arrest was due to good investigative done by the station’s Detective Warrant Officer Matsobane Galane. The woman was arrested for a case of concealment of birth which took place in 2013 at Fairmount.

“The suspect was arrested on 24 February at 2pm. She also appeared at the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court the following day on 25 February as the case was remanded for further investigation,” said Mamabolo.

He added that station management applauded the investigating officer for a job well done.
