Norwood CPF member appears briefly at the Hillbrow court

NORWOOD – The accused briefly in the court with his legal adviser.


A case involving a Norwood Community Policing Forum‘s member arrested for alleged assault and trespassing was postponed pending police investigation to 3 May at the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court on 16 April.

The member, who is yet to plead, is currently out on bail following his arrest on 14 March, as reported online in the article Senior NCPF member’s future looks bleak [March 29].

The man was arrested after allegedly assaulting two employees of the Hospice Wits second-hand shop in Orange Grove.

He appeared briefly in the court with his legal adviser and was supported by members of the Orange Grove Community Forum.
