Metro police Integrated Intelligent Operation Centre (IOC) Reaction Unit officers arrested two men for possession of illegal firearms.
The two were allegedly plotting revenge against a person whom they suspected of killing their father.

The police received a tip-off from South African Police Service Crime Intelligence about the suspects’ intention to commit the crime. The two men were arrested on Main Reef Road near the George Goch train station.
“Both suspects are detained at Jeppe Police Station and charged with the possession of illegal firearms,” said Metro police chief David Tembe.
