Suspect in police custody for stolen goods

JOHANNESBURG – The suspect hid one of the alleged stolen goods at his private parts.

 


The Johannesburg Central Police Station’s members arrested a 23-years-old male suspect for possession of suspected stolen property on 25 June.

This incident happened on the corner of Nugget and Anderson streets in the Johannesburg CBD, said acting police spokesperson, Constable Constance Lelimo.

“Police were busy with their routine crime prevention duties when they saw a male holding a car mirror in his hands. They stopped and searched him and found another mirror under his armpits and a third mirror at his private part.”

The investigation is underway and the suspect is expected to appear soon in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court.
