
Police have arrested a suspect for possession of a stolen vehicle in Doornfontein on 16 July.
According to Metro police chief David Tembe, the Intelligent Operation Centre (IOC) Reaction Unit received information of a stolen vehicle from SAPS Radio Control.

“The vehicle was travelling in the CBD. Officers followed infomation from the tracker and the vehicle was found at Rocky and Davis in Doornfontein with one suspect in it,” said Tembe.
The suspect was arrested and detained at Jeppe Police Station for possession of a stolen vehicle.
