AKA in line to win Pan African Artist award at Namibian music awards
JOBURG – AKA scores Pan-African Artist award nomination for Fela In Versace.
Namibia’s premier music awards, the Namibian Annual Music Awards (NAMA), are renowned for shedding light on trailblazing musicians in Namibia. Recognising musical talent across all genres, the awards have evolved with each passing year and are not only limited to recognising Namibian artists.

South African rap giant, AKA, stands in line to bag an award at the ceremony scheduled to take place on 7 September. The rap virtuoso was nominated in the Pan-African Artist of the Year category for his Kiddominant-assisted chart-topping hit, Fela In Versace.
AKA took to Twitter to announce his nomination and said he hoped to attend the award ceremony on the day.

Other artists that stand a chance to win the award include Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, South Africa’s Holly Rey, Master KG and Prince Kaybee.
