Parktown Girls win the Greenside Women’s Soccer Tournament for the second year running
GREENSIDE – Parktown Girls' won all their matches at the tournament.
The Parktown Girls’ U16 Festival Team won the Greenside Women’s Soccer Tournament over the weekend of 17 and 18 August.
The girls won all their matches and went on to play the Deutsche Schule Pretoria in the final match, which they won 4–2.
Director of sport at Parktown Girls Catherine van Eyk said, “Congratulations to Ayanda Mnyembane who was awarded the Player of the Tournament. This is a fantastic result and it is Parktown’s second year in a row winning this tournament. Well done girls.”
