The Johannesburg Flying Squad has arrested three suspects for different crimes in different parts of the city over the last weekend.
The incidents happened between 30 August and 1 September according to the spokesperson for the unit, senior personnel officer Raymond Sambo.
Sambo said six motor vehicles either reported stolen or hijacked were also recovered during their different operations.
He said one suspect was arrested for robbery, another for domestic violence while the third was arrested for possession of a suspected stolen vehicle.
“The officers further recovered four vehicles reported stolen which included an Isuzu KB bakkie, a Toyota Verso, a Golf and a Toyota Hi-Lux,” he said.
“We also recovered a VW Polo with a suspect inside and a Toyota Hi-Lux. Both vehicles were reported hijacked.”
All three suspects, aged between 22 and 43, will be appearing soon in different magistrates’ courts facing separate charges while investigations continue.
