Arno Carstens to ring in Calexico’s anniversary celebrations
JOBURG – The aesthetically-pleasing spot turns a year old this month and is set to celebrate its anniversary with a fiery performance by platinum-selling and award-winning musician, Arno Carstens.
Nestled in the ever-popular 44 Stanley hub, Calexico Vinyl Lounge and Restaurant is steadily morphing into the place to be. The Americana-themed restaurant and bar is inspired by the music and flavours of California and hints of Mexico.

Arno’s live performance sets include the hits from his 20-year-long career as frontman of The Springbok Nude Girls, and as a solo artist – many of the beloved and celebrated songs from his career are set to set Calexico on fire.
Calexico is known for its tasty nachos, sticky ribs and double-double burgers, not to mention signature cocktails and craft beers and prides itself on the quirky décor, vinyl wall and great music and events.
