Dance Music Awards SA honour the best in the game

JOBURG – Shimza, Sculpturedmusic, Black Coffee, Prince Kaybee and more win big at this year’s Dance Music Awards SA.

Acknowledging and honouring the accomplishments and contributions of artists and industry tastemakers in South African dance music, the Dance Music Awards South Africa (DMASA) are an online, public-voted awards platform that aim to push boundaries and drive South Africa’s thriving dance music industry forward.

This year’s edition came with a few surprises, smiles, and cries as legends and underdogs received much-deserved props. Big winners on the night include Shimza who bagged two awards, Best Male DJ and Best Festival while Sculpturedmusic walked away with Best Producer and Remix of the Year. Black Coffee walked away with the Album of the Year while Prince Kaybee took home House Record of the Year.
