A dreamy marshmallow coloured courtyard makes for the perfect backdrop to this new brunch-time party. That’s Nice! launches at 99 Juta Street, Saturday, 14 December from 11 am – 5 pm, taking advantage of Joburg’s prime Summer days.

This new event boasts a full line-up of Johannesburg’s best alternative DJs and artists. It includes photographer and vinyl DJ Andile Buka, femme artist, Congo Muffin, Half ‘n Half, Bilal Da DJ and Baby Boosh.

Patrons can look forward to Korean-inspired fried chicken baos by Meesook, a dedicated MCC bar from Krone and artisan coffee from Billy Dukes. A dark-blue bar tucked away in the back of the building will serve drinks while guests enjoy the unique, colour-drenched inner-city setting.

A new events space adjoining 99’s signature pink courtyard has been fitted out by Dokter and Misses. The airy mint green, lilac and terracotta space is an area for people to mill around, grab some food or a drink and hang out for the day.

For those looking for some visual stimulation, the Dokter and Misses 12 DAM Years exhibition will also be on show. Having launched end of November, the print exhibition features twelve limited edition prints which tell the story of the furniture brand’s journey over the past twelve years, all screen printed by FloodHouse.

Limited tickets are available on ww.quicket.co.za and can also be bought on the day for R50.
