20 December: Jack and the Beanstalk

Jack and the Beanstalk returns for panto season on the Mandela Stage at the Joburg Theatre. Acclaimed writer, director and South Africa’s queen of pantomime Janice Honeyman will once again tell the story of poor country boy Jack, the family cow, the magic beans, the enormous beanstalk, the unfriendly giant and the enchanted hen that lays the golden egg on 20 December.  This ever- popular pantomime story traditionally sets good against evil and is jam-packed full of Honeyman’s wit, double-entendres, charm and magic. 21 December: Tablist

Join Tha Cutt & Spindle for the sixth instalment of, Tablist, showcasing performance deejaying and a night of partying and rocking through a soundscape of traditional hip hop, beats, scratches, and future sounds. 21 December: Christmas Gin Masterclass
