Parktown Girls’ is top school in the district

PARKVIEW – Four of the top 10 learners in the district went to Parktown Girls'.


Parktown High School for Girls is incredibly proud to be named Top School in the District at the recent District Awards Ceremony based on the 2019 matric results.

Four of the learners at Parktown Girls’ were in the top 10 in the district. They included Husnaa Banoo (3rd), Zayyana Amod (7th), Tanweer Madhi (8th) and Emma Parsons (10th).

The following learners placed first in their subjects in the district: Zayyana Amod (English home language), Imaan Laher (life sciences), Mikayla Boorany (history) and Tiana Padiachi (consumer studies).

Congratulations also go to the Afrikaans first additional language department whose results have been confirmed as the best in the district overall.
