CAP and SAPS work together to investigate tragic incident in Norwood

NORWOOD – Upon entering a certain property in Norwood, CAP officers found two people murdered.

On the morning of 24 June while on routine patrol, CAP tactical officers investigated a property after finding the gate ajar. After entering the property in Norwood, officers discovered that two people had been murdered.

“Initial observations appear to indicate that this was perpetrated during a robbery, and CAP is assisting the SAPS members to investigate,” CAP revealed in a statement.

The security company said it will devote all possible resources to bring the perpetrators of this crime to justice and reinforce CAP’s commitment to working with the police to uphold the law.

“CAP is offering a reward of R100 000 to any individual with information that leads to the successful prosecution of the perpetrators of this incident. As this is an ongoing investigation, we are unable to provide further details on this incident to the public. We wish to express our sincere condolences to all affected by this tragedy,” stated CAP.

Norwood police spokesperson Sergeant Eric Masotsha said he would share information as soon as the docket was available.
