We will rock you

PARKTOWN – Gordon said the talented teachers and children will explore the juke box musical, channelling their most creative selves as they dance, sing and act to chase the winter blues away.

The National Children’s Theatre in Parktown invites youth between the ages of seven and 17 to join their winter holiday camp from 12 to 16 July.

The theme for this year’s camp is We will rock you.

The agenda includes workshops in acting, dancing and singing.

Cindy Gordon of the National Children’s Theatre Trust said, “We will rock you is a musical camp for our time – a fist-pumping, foot-stomping anthem to individuality. It’s a place where young people connect, restore independent thinking, creativity and become the champions.”

Gordon said the talented teachers and children would explore the jukebox musical, channelling their most creative selves as they dance, sing and act to chase the winter blues away.

The camp will take place from 12 and 16 July from 9am to 12 noon daily.

The camp costs R1 500 per child with sibling discounts available.
