Buns Out Rosebank closes its doors
ROSEBANK – Buns Out Linden and Norwood branches will continue to operate normally.
The owner of burger restaurant Buns Out, Maps Maponyane, has confirmed that the Rosebank branch is closing its doors due to ongoing Level 4 restrictions imposed in the country.
“The current conditions have just made it too challenging. We tried. This isn’t the end of the road,” Maponyane tweeted on July 13.

In a statement, Buns Out said the recent return to Level 4 lockdown and countrywide restrictions with regards to the sale of alcohol ‘has made this journey ever tougher and insurmountable’.
However, despite the sad news, Buns Out Linden and Norwood branches will continue to trade normally.
The eatery added, “[The move] was not an easy decision, but a necessary one, and we hope to see you still getting your Buns Out regularly — it’s good for your health.”
