Saxonwold Primary School prepares to host its annual Wold Big Walk

SAXONWOLD – The Saxonwold Primary School is set to host its Wold Big Walk virtually.

Saxonwold Primary School is very excited to announce that their biggest event of the year, The Wold Big Walk, will take place virtually on September 11.

The walk will be divided into three challenges and participants can register for as many challenges as they would like.
Registration for each challenge costs R60 per person. Each challenge will have four prize winners, however, random spot prize draws will also take place throughout the event.

Families stand a chance to win prizes for competing in the walk. There will be a prize for the family coming first, second and third. The spirit award will be given to the family who takes part in their class/house colours or creative outfits.

To be eligible for the these prizes, participants have to use the Nike Run Club application to record their results. Participants need to take a screenshot of their results and submit it via the school’s virtual walk portal, www.saxonwoldprimary.co.za/virtualwalk

 

Participants need to choose where they would like to complete the challenges. It can be at home, in your neighbourhood or even around the city. The event will be broadcast live on Saxonwold Primary School’s Facebook and YouTube accounts and the winners will be announced on these platforms from 11:30.

  • Challenge 1: The Ultimate 10K Walk 09:00–11:00
  • Challenge 2: The Fabulous 5K Walk 10:00–11:00
  • Challenge 3: The Terrific 2K Walk 10:30–11:00.
