Suspects charged for drug possession

Hillbrow police arrest two suspects for the possession of drugs.

Spokesperson of the Hillbrow police, Captain Mduduzi Zondo, told Rosebank Killarney Gazette that officers were conducting their usual routine patrols when they spotted the two male suspects aged 21 and 22 on September 29.

The police searched the two suspects and found that they were in possession of methcathinone, a street drug commonly known as ‘kat’.

The suspects were arrested and appeared in the Hillbrow Magistrates Court on September 30.
